Anna Politkovskaya Award
The Anna Politkovskaya Award (French: Prix Anna Politkovskaya) is a prize to remember and honor the journalist Anna Politkovskaya and human rights defenders from wars and conflict zones.
The human rights organisation Reach All Women in War (RAW in WAR), which particularly focuses on protecting women's rights during war time, announced in 2007 that they would start the award in Politkovskaya's honor. The award recognizes "to a woman human rights defender from a conflict zone in the world who, like Anna, stands up for the victims of this conflict, often at great personal risk".〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Anna Politkovskaya Award )
